Happy New Year to all our Special Friends Club members and their families.
We hope you all enjoyed the wonderful activities over the Festive period.
We have received lots of lovely positive feedback which we really appreciate and this helps us when planning future events. Remember if there is anything your children have particularly enjoyed or there is an activity or place you think would be suitable for the children that we haven’t tried please let us know.
XMAS PARTY
The Special Friends Club Christmas party was a huge success, as well as everybody having a great time we raised the amazing amount of £500 for the charity with our Christmas raffle.
Thank you to all of you, who helped at the party, donated raffle prizes, sold or bought raffle tickets and a big thank you to the Cole family for the kind donation of the 1st prize a Mountain bike which went to a very pleased winner!
FUNDRAISING

All donations whether large or small are always gratefully received and make it possible for Special Friends Club to continue to provide such fantastic days out and support for all of our Special children and families.
Special Friends Club weekend break at Center Parcs 2012 was a huge success. 48 families attended. The weather was fantastic, fun was had by all and it was lovely to see the children and their families so happy and relaxed. There was a great atmosphere at the sports bar on the Saturday evening with many of our children (and adults) hitting the dance floor.
Our sole use of the pancake house was lovely and gave some families their first opportunity of eating in a restaurant together with their children, not forgetting to mention the pool and rapids as popular as always with numerous visits by everyone.
